Recently I read an article that said "if every person changed one incandescent light bulb to a green bulb [like the GE Energy Smart bulbs], then we would save enough energy to light Manhattan". This started the gears in my head spinning.

If this is true if everyone replaces one light bulb, what would happen if we replaced all of our light bulbs?  So, I went to the Home Depot and found the bulbs.  Hmmm.  These things are expensive.

"Why are we forced to pay more to save energy?", I wondered.
