Bathroom

In the bathroom, you have the opportunity to save tens of thousands of gallons of water per year, as well as a lot of home energy related to heating that water.   There also are some smart product choices related to reducing waste that are easy to undertake.

These are the things you can do with little to no investment- less than $15, if anything- and more likely will put cash in your pocket.  When you're ready to make a bigger investment, you can also find appliance guides in the energy section.

Tackling all of these tips at once can seem overwhelming - that's why we separated them by room.  Try doing one tip a week in each room- within a year, you'll be thoroughly "made over".  Sign up for our tips by email, or follow us on twitter - when the reminders come to you step by step, it may make things even easier.

So, go ahead, pick one -  go in order (we put them in order of highest impact), or start with the ones that seem accessible to you.
